Transcend
"Embraces" is a great example of my versatility as I wore the hats of nearly every position including Creative Development, Casting, and Director of Photography. The band was elated with the finished video and we won a DV Award for "Best Music Video."
"Mortal Dilemma" is a noir-western short film set in the desloate lands of West Texas about good vs. evil, yet things aren't always what they seem. I was hired on as the Director of Photography, to create the look and feel of the movie. The scope of the project that the producer and director had originally envisioned exceeded their familiarality, and thus I took on the additional role of Line Producer to assist with the process of managing a much larger crew. The hard work and great crew helped me to win "Best Cinematography," at the MAC Film Fesetival in Brazil and Austin Revolution Film Festival in Austin, Texas.
Comedy has always been one of the biggest influences in life, and being part of the Comedy Living Room family as a Video Producer has been an absolute thrill for the past 3 years. After I helped to line and video produce successful shows at SXSW, the CLR gang wanted to share their originial experience with comedy fans in NYC. The video above is the promotional video for NYCLR that I edited with NYC stockfootage and past Comedy Living Room shows, ultimately transcending the intimate experience of community and laughter to a brand new audience.
